STATELINE, Nev. – RedRock Studio Events announced the return of the 4th Annual Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum, taking place August 20 at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nevada.

The annual gathering brings together transportation professionals, electric transportation pioneers and early adopters, academia, environmental stewardship leaders, electric vehicle manufacturers and vendors, and interested residents and visitors. The Forum provides an engaging and collaborative exchange of ideas while showcasing opportunities to improve air and water quality through the adoption of clean-energy transportation solutions in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

“Some of my earliest memories of Lake Tahoe are of visiting this extraordinary alpine lake as a child, and all these years later, my spouse and I still treasure the time we spend here,” said Kevin McGehee, founder of the Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum. “I created this Forum out of a love for Lake Tahoe and a desire to help preserve what makes this place so special for future generations. Clean transportation gives us an opportunity to embrace the latest emerging technologies while protecting the environment we all come here to enjoy.”

This year’s Forum will showcase futuristic electric transportation solutions that are available today. Heather Chirtea of Relentless Ascent will demonstrate the possibilities of personal electric aviation with her flying car and deliver a motivational keynote address exploring the future of transportation.

Innovation will extend from the air to Lake Tahoe itself. Arc Boats will host evening cruises on Lake Tahoe aboard an electric boat, giving participants an opportunity to experience emerging electric marine technology firsthand.

Electric vehicle manufacturers, including Rivian, Tesla and Audi, will also showcase some of their latest electric vehicle offerings.

The Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum is a high energy celebration of better living through clean technology. It is an opportunity to see, experience and discuss transportation technologies that are rapidly moving from the future into everyday life. The future of electric transportation is now.

The Forum is open to the public. A limited number of tickets remain available.
