Tahoe Cup / Lake Crossing is set apart from other paddle races by its 22-miles length (35km). The majestic paddle across Lake Tahoe nicknamed the Alpine Caribbean with surrounded by 2000′ peaks is a bucket list to most. Lake Tahoe is known worldwide as a skier’s paradise; the alpine destination is one of the largest flat-water paddle venues in the world, where the serenity of the deep blue water will challenge your paddling mindset and imprint inspiring memories. The crossing is open all craft; stand-up paddleboards, prone paddleboards, outrigger canoes (OC2, OC2, OC6) and surfskis. Because this is a major bucket list event for most athletes and have paddlers from far and beyond the region, making sure the weather is showing signs for a safe voyage on Tahoe, we are reserving three days to run the race safely; the race will start either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, the preferred day is Saturday. Rose to Toads – Registration opens July 13th!
Over 62 miles in length with 9,000+ feet of climbing and 11,000+ feet of descent, this is the most amazing (and tough) mountain bike ride. What started off as a hair-brained idea with a few friends many years ago, before TAMBA’s rebirth, is now one of our signature events that attracts crazy people from all over the country. It takes most people all day to complete the ride and showcases some of the best trails linking Lake Tahoe’s North Shore from Mount Rose down to the South Shore, ending on the famous Mr. Toads Wild Ride. This is not a race but the ride can be as intense as you want it to be. Join us and be part of something awesome!

Tahoe Blue Crew Training – 4-5 p.m., Keep Tahoe Blue Spurlock/Evers Environment and Education Center, 2877 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Join the Tahoe Blue Crew program and help create a litter-free Tahoe! The Tahoe Blue Crew program allows individuals or groups of people to take care of an adopted area in Lake Tahoe and empowers them to keep it litter-free.
At this hybrid training on September 17 from 4 pm to 5 pm, you will learn how to become a Tahoe Blue Crew Leader, adopt a litter hotspot, and collect data for your site. We will also help you develop your personal approach for planning and executing your Blue Crew efforts. After this training with Keep Tahoe Blue staff, we will schedule a time to meet with you personally to go over your adopted site and other logistics.
