Kalei was a very special friend whose roots in our hometown Truckee shaped many lifetime cherished memories. Kalei passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 30th, 2026, in Brescia Lombordia Italy.

She was always passionate about traveling and seeing the world. She loved art, graphic design and teaching English. She made a great impact on these following schools: My English School, Wall Street English School, and the famous, Lonati AngloAmerican School (L.A.A.S). She had such an electric personality that was contagious. She was loved by everyone she touched.

Kalei, since childhood, was always full of fierceness and bold intuition, never shielded away from anything she wanted to grasp in life.

She left behind two siblings, Jacob Ikaika and Kris Davi Moana, a husband Isacco Junior Tanghetti. She is the mother of daughter Hokukaipo Vittoria Arielle and a son Kane Makoa Isacco. She also left behind parents, Rob and Vicky Cofer.

We have faith and trust that Kalei is now resting in peace in paradise. We will continue to remember her as a powerful, brave soul who captured our hearts. Puana i’a mai!

Aloha mãkou iã ‘oe e Kalei Remembrance takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm; 6250 Valley Wood Drive, Reno, NV 89523.
