GLENBROOK, Nev. – Lagree Tahoe Fitness Studio is adding a third location to its growing powerhouse fitness program while also augmenting a wellness and recovery expansion to its Incline Village studio.
For those who have never heard of it, Lagree is a low-impact, high-intensity strength-based fitness program done on a spring-loaded Lagree machine. Created by Sebastien Lagree, the program first launched around 2001 and has grown in popularity around the world, the country, and now, right here in Tahoe.
Owners Kara Pendl and Lexi Heinzer are passionate local leaders in Lagree fitness and since opening their first location in Incline Village, followed by their second studio in Truckee, they have continued to make efforts in bringing accessible Lagree fitness programs to the Tahoe community.

Their newest Aprés Club studio in Zephyr Cove is scheduled to open mid-October, and it’s always been in their plans to have a location in the area. After finding the space on a whim earlier this summer, both Pendl and Heinzer knew it was the opportunity they’d been waiting for.
“We are beyond excited. We cannot wait,” said Pendl. “We’ve been excited for every single studio, but this one, especially, it’s close to our hearts to be able to go to the other side of the lake and meet so many new faces.”
The Zephyr Cove studio is their biggest studio thus far. Situated next to the Safeway off of Highway 50, and only 25 minutes from their Incline Village studio, the location offers an ample amount of natural light throughout and allows clients to get all their shopping and workouts done in one place.
“We already had a good amount of clients that were coming up from Glenbrook, Carson, and in those areas, so we really wanted to have another opportunity to serve them. We know how much construction and traffic can be on the East Shore,” said Heinzer.
In addition to their newest location, Lagree Tahoe has also expanded its Incline Village studio by adding an additional space specifically designed for recovery and wellness.
New amenities include infrared saunas and red light face masks from Sunlighten, full-body roller massage systems from Rollgevity, Osaki massage chairs which assist in deep tissue massage and compression, and other wellness tools such as Theraguns and yoga mats. Included is a lounge area where clients can hop on their laptops or prioritize rest after a workout.
“We wanted to build an area that you can get your workout in and then have an amazing recovery/wellness component to it without having to leave, especially during winter when there’s not a ton of places like that to go to,” said Pendl. “A space for people to also just chat and connect after class without having to go to the parking lot which we see at all the studios.”
Implemented as a pilot project, the new addition at Incline Village will set the stage for whether or not they will design wellness spaces in their other two studios.
If folks are interested in trying a Lagree workout at Lagree Tahoe’s new Zephyr Cove location, Pendl and Heinzer are offering complimentary community classes where you can be among the first to enjoy their new space and meet their team.
Founding memberships are also available to those who are interested in joining the Zephyr Cove Lagree community, providing their lowest membership pricing which is locked in until you decide to deactivate your account.

Both Heinzer and Pendl are looking to connect with the Zephyr Cove community by partnering with local businesses in the area to create lasting relationships..
“We really want to stress to people, if they’re reading this and they are a small business, or they are somebody whose values align with Aprés Club, please reach out to us,” Pendl added. “We would love to hear from them and find a way to work together. We are such believers that rising tides lift all ships, and we really stand by that when we do plan our community activations.”
