STATELINE, Nev. — Mayor Cody Bass appeared in court for his arrest at Aleworx on December 22, with another court date set in a little over a week. Bass has maintained his innocence in the incident.
In late September, Bass was arrested on an assault charge, which was dropped by the district attorney by October 7. The incident involved a bouncer at Aleworx, who Bass said had assaulted him previously. He was also charged with trespassing and harassment.
In the security cam footage, the bouncer is seen kicking Bass after the two of them appear to get into an argument.
Bass’s arraignment was set for December 22, and he appeared in court. He told the Tribune he pled not guilty to the remaining charges.
His next court date is January 12.
