Edgewood Tahoe Resort partners with Bread and Broth to host Monday Meal

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – On Monday, August 3, Edgewood Tahoe Resort brought its spirit of hospitality and generosity to Bread & Broth’s Monday Meal as the evening’s Adopt A Day of Nourishment sponsor and host.

“On behalf of all of us at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for once again providing us with the opportunity to participate in Bread & Broth’s Adopt A Day of Nourishment program,” shared Cristine Holtziner, Edgewood Tahoe Resort’s Executive Administrative Assistant.

Cristine coordinated Edgewood’s Adopt A Day (AAD) sponsorship meal and was joined by a compassionate team of Edgewood volunteers: Siobhan Fajayan, Edgewood General Manager; Corinna Osboren, Edgewood Chief Operating Officer; Abraham Rubio, Food and Beverage Manager; and his wife, Gabriela Rubio.

Known as one of South Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful lakeside resorts, Edgewood Tahoe Resort is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for its guests. On Monday evening, that same gracious hospitality was shared with Bread & Broth’s dinner guests. With warm smiles and kind words, the Edgewood crew welcomed community members and served 130 hearty meals featuring country fried chicken, parmesan fries, coleslaw, and sautéed bell peppers.

After the meal, Cristine reflected on what the evening meant to the Edgewood Tahoe Resort team. “It is always a privilege to partner with your incredible organization, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to both financially support and serve alongside your dedicated volunteers. Giving back to our local community is something that means a great deal to our team, and each of our volunteers leaves the evening with a renewed appreciation for the important work Bread & Broth does to provide nourishment, compassion, and hope to so many members of our community. We are honored to play even a small role in helping further your mission.”

Gail Clair, the evening’s Bread & Broth Adopt A Day Coordinator, expressed her gratitude for the caring support shown by the Edgewood crew. “Everyone was so kind and eager to help in every way, especially staying until the very end to help dry dishes and clean up the dining and kitchen areas. It was our pleasure having Edgewood Tahoe Resort sponsor another Monday Meal.”
