STATELINE, Nev. – The Heavenly Village is welcoming the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West – Golden West Brass for a special free public concert on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the heart of Heavenly Village.
This inspiring evening of music offers residents and visitors the unique opportunity to experience one of the U.S. Air Force’s premier musical ensembles in an intimate outdoor setting. The performance is free and open to the public.
Golden West Brass is one of the most versatile chamber ensembles within the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, featuring two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion. Known for their musical excellence and engaging performances, the ensemble regularly appears at community concerts, educational outreach events, military ceremonies, patriotic celebrations, and major sporting events throughout the western United States.
Over the years, Golden West Brass has performed at numerous distinguished ceremonies, including memorial services aboard the USS Midway and the honorary promotion ceremony of Brig. Gen. Buzz Aldrin, demonstrating the professionalism and excellence that define the United States Air Force.
As part of the Band of the Golden West, the ensemble’s mission extends far beyond performance. Through music, they strive to honor those who have served, inspire patriotism and resilience among Airmen, Guardians, and communities across the nation, and strengthen the connection between the United States Air Force and the American people.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy dining, shopping, and entertainment throughout Heavenly Village before the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair if desired.
