Tracy (Gorder) Kuntschik

On December 23, 2025,
Tracy Marie Gorder passed away peacefully with family and friends at her side.

Throughout her youth, she excelled in many team sports and activities including basketball, volleyball and cheerleading.
Tracy settled in the Reno area while still in high school and quickly became the heart of friend circles. Her cheerful nature and beautiful smile always brought joy to the crowd.
She graduated in the class of ’85 at McQueen High School in Reno, NV.
She moved to Lake Tahoe shortly after and fell in love with the beaches and mountain living.

She became an accomplished skier and enjoyed camping, cooking, concerts, Tahoe beaches, friends and family gatherings throughout her adult years. If you wanted anyone on your team throwing horseshoes, it was Tracy.

Tracy met and married the love of her life, Brian Kuntschik in Incline Village, NV. where they lived and celebrated marriage on September 25, 1992. Tracy and Brian created many wonderful memories together. They spent their weekends on camping trips, watching NASCAR and football with close friends. And of course, always with the loving companionship of their dogs over the years, Dusty, Daisy and Bella.

Tracy’s savvy, kindness, and unparalleled love left a mark on everyone she met.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father Robert Gorder.
She is survived by her devoted husband of thirty-three years, Brian Kuntschik; stepson Ryan,
her mother, Donna McCarey; brothers, Rob (Monica) and Joseph (Courtney).
She also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and lifelong friends.

The celebration of Tracy’s vibrant life is being planned and will be announced in Spring or early Summer 2026.
