LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. — Grab your pup and join Keep Tahoe Blue and their partners at Wilderdog for a fun few hours of stewardship on one of Tahoe’s most dog-friendly trails.
We’ll clean up litter and pet waste along the Lam Watah Nature Trail and Nevada Beach. Every piece of trash picked up and doggie bag properly disposed helps protect Tahoe’s trails, beaches, and waters for people and pets alike. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome. Participants will have a shot at taking home pet-centric raffle prizes.
The cleanup will be held Wednesday, August 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Lam Watah Nature Trail to Nevada Beach | 193 Kahle Dr, Stateline, NV 89449.
Participants are encouraged to travel Car-Free and Care-Free to the event on a Tahoe Transportation District bus, Lake Link shuttle, in a carpool, or by bike. Parking is available at the Lam Watah Nature Trail trailhead (map) and the Kingsbury Transit Center (map).
