SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The City of South Lake Tahoe invites residents and visitors to enjoy Restaurant Week, taking place November 6-15. The multi-day event will spotlight South Lake Tahoe’s wide range of restaurants, encouraging guests to visit a favorite dining spot, try something new, and support local businesses.

Savor the Sierra by exploring the variety of flavors and cuisines available throughout South Lake Tahoe. Restaurants will feature discounted prices, prix fixe menus, and other special promotions at more than 30 local dining establishments, including restaurants, cafés, wine bars, and breweries.

“Restaurant Week is an opportunity to celebrate the local businesses that serve our community every day,” said Hilary Roverud, City Manager. “Choosing local businesses supports restaurant owners and employees that are essential to South Lake Tahoe’s community.  We encourage residents and visitors to dine local, discover a new cuisine, and help strengthen our community with every purchase.”

To receive a Restaurant Week special, guests should let their server or a member of the restaurant staff know they are participating in Restaurant Week when they arrive or place their order. Offers vary by location, so please check with each participating restaurant for their special offering.

An interactive Restaurant Week map created by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority will help guests find participating businesses and plan their Restaurant Week experience.
