Of the roughly 1,200 Washoe eligible to vote, 436 cast a ballot for chairman.
Saturday’s election also saw results for the half dozen community councils.
All the candidates for Dresslerville, Carson and Reno-Sparks were elected to their seats.
In Stewart, Marilyn Bitisillie, Blain Osorio, Darienne Tenorio, Wanda Batchelor and Jacquelini Steele won a seat. Woodfords’ Cassandra Fred, Kristy Vann, Nicole Bennett Geoffrey Ellis and Sari Payne were elected for council in the Alpine County community. Raymond Gabriel and Elvia Smokey won seats for the off-reservation council.
