STATELINE, Nev. – As the days get shorter and the weather begins to cool, an evening food market called Tahoe Twilight Bites is coming to the parking lot of the Tahoe Nugget every Wednesday, starting on September 16, offering a variety of food and fun for the whole family.
“It’s fall and it’s locals’ summer,” said Steve Rozier, owner and operator of Lake Tahoe Markets who noted that the market aims to bring locals together for a midweek gathering while enjoying the beautiful Tahoe sunset.
The event will highlight a variety of local and regional vendors, from snacks and take-home provisions to hot, substantial meals from one of their rotating food truck vendors alongside tasty cocktails from Tipsy Twins Mobile Bar & Events. Craft vendors such as Artworks42 will also be attending, showcasing one-of-a-kind, hand-painted jewelry which make for great holiday gifts.
“We’re bringing up different types of trucks that haven’t been up to the basin before, and with that we’re going to rotate in the local guys, too,” said Rozier. “We’re working hard in getting people up from the valley, and who knows, maybe you can find a food truck for your wedding or your next great party.”
There will be tables to sit, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere as Tahoe Nugget provides a great view across the mountain range and plenty of parking.
“It’s a great way for the locals to come out, have a little fun, and enjoy Tahoe on a Wednesday where things are usually pretty chill,” Rozier added.
Tahoe Twilight Bites will run every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting September 16 through October 29.
The Tahoe Nugget parking lot is located at 177 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nev.
