Before anyone freaks out or starts complaining about why in the world the Tribune looks the way it does this week, let me explain.
The day before we went to press this week, I was notified by our printer that they had been having some trouble with the paper mill in getting their newsprint delivery of the size our normal Tribune. They were supposed to get the delivery this week before going to press, but were notified it would not arrive until after, so the solution from the printer was to come as close to the normal size with what they had in stock – hence the size you’re reading today.
This is not a permanent change. We anticipate getting back to normal next week but were cautioned that there may be a chance it gets further delayed. I’ll be crossing my fingers along with all of you that this week is the only week we are affected.
Thank you for reading.
