STATELINE, Nev. – After the first round of tournament play wrapped up Friday afternoon, nine celebrities continued their golf play for a shot at winning $10,000 at the beachside, lakefront hole 17 in the Corona Beach Challenge.

In the closest-to-the-pin challenge, each celebrity had two shots to hit the ball from the sandy beach as close to the hole as possible.

While each competitor took their shots, fellow competitors sat in Corona-branded director chairs directly behind them, engaging in friendly banter and shielding themselves from the sand. Stragglers from the large crowds earlier in the day cheered them on with Lake Tahoe as the backdrop.

Between the sand and the blue water, it was a scene from a Corona commercial.

Celebrities participating were Brady and Matthew Tkachuk, Matt Boldy, The Miz, Rob Riggle, Larry the Cable Guy, Adam Thielen, Alfonso Ribeiro and Kevin Millar.

Kevin Millar proved that last is not least and won the event. He came back from a failed first shot after his ball rolled back towards him, not counting.

Millar’s second ball landed five feet and two inches from the pin, beating Matthew Tkachuk’s ball that landed one foot farther at six feet and two inches.
