LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. – Keep Tahoe Blue and Arcade Belts have collaborated to create a limited-edition belt that not only secures garments but also protects Lake Tahoe.

10% of the proceeds from Arcade Belt’s Keep Tahoe Blue Belt go toward Keep Tahoe Blue and its mission to preserve Lake Tahoe.

With the lake as its muse, the belt design draws inspiration from Tahoe’s iconic blue waters, mountain landscapes and the active lifestyle it provides.

“More importantly, it represents a shared commitment to protecting the lake so future generations can enjoy it just as we do today,” Arcade Belts co-founder and CEO Tristan Queen said.

The belt features the Tahoe-based company’s signature performance stretch webbing for all-day comfort, a patented micro-adjustable A2 buckle system, and webbing made from 85% post-consumer recycled REPREVE® polyester.

“My favorite feature has to be the custom artwork inspired by Lake Tahoe,” Queen said. “It’s subtle enough to wear every day, but it tells the story of a place that means so much to our team and our community.”

Keep Tahoe Blue has been working with Arcade Belts for over a decade now. “They were one of the first to join our Tahoe Blue Business program when it relaunched in 2024,” said Hailey Hawkins, Strategic Partnerships Manager for Keep Tahoe Blue.

The Tahoe Blue Business program brings Tahoe-minded businesses on board for partnerships and collaborations that benefit Lake Tahoe, whether it’s spreading the word, on-the-ground support, like cleanups and restoration work, environmentally conscious switches or financial support.

“If I could have businesses walk away remembering only one thing about our Blue Business program, it would be that small, meaningful choices add up to big protections for Tahoe,” Hawkins said. “Community partnerships, especially with businesses, are such an impactful part of protecting the Lake.”

In addition to giving 10% of belt proceeds to the cause, Arcade Belts has been the official business partner for Keep Tahoe Blue’s annual Labor Day Cleanup.

“They are passionate about ‘protecting where they play,'” Hawkins said, “Giving back is just in their DNA.”

The limited-edition belt is lightweight, machine washable, metal-free for easy travel, and built to handle everything from hiking and camping to everyday wear. Queen says it’s for people who want functional gear that also supports a great cause.

“It’s designed for anyone who loves Tahoe,” Queen added, “whether you hike, ski, bike, paddle, travel, or simply appreciate spending time outdoors.”

The belt is available at arcadbelts.com, the Keep Tahoe Blue online store, and select local retailers while supplies last.

“Lake Tahoe isn’t just where we’re headquartered,” Queen said, “it really is the fabric that ties all of our smaller local communities and tourist communities together.”
